i love the trackball!!!

just wanted to post a quick thought i was having. i was reading a few threads
on different sites from nexus one users that felt that there was no need
for the track ball on the nexus. they felt the device would be more
streamlined and it was just not needed. i thought about this for a while
and i could not imagine browsing the web without the trackball. there
are times i need to tap a little icon or something and i just can't get
it, so i use the trackball and it is great. i really like the track ball.
also, i love how bright my nexus trackball lights up, it is really
bright. i do wish i could pick different colors for different things(text,email,ect.)
but anyway, this was just my rambling thoughts on the trackball.

I don't have a Nexus (I wish!) but I'm sure glad to have the trackball on my Rogers Magic. Every time I use my iPod Touch I miss it. It's just a nuisance always having to cover up part of the screen just to scroll...

Yep, trackballs are a great thing. Take this as a word of warning, I have had a Sidekick LX for the last 2 years, I have had 2 phones because the trackball quits working. You have to clean them all the time. The best thing to clean them with are the lense cleaner wipes for glasses.
