I made a big mistake by purchasing Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG

To better help you pick a new phone:
  • What's your budget?
  • What made you choose the Fonepad 7?
  • What's most important to you in a phone?
  • What do you spend the most time doing on your phone?

I don't have the cash right now. I will be making the purchase next year.
My budget is Rs 10000.

When I purchased the Fonepad 7 I knew nothing about smartphones / tablets.
A friend of mine suggested the Fonepad 7.

After the Fonepad 7 disaster the most important feature that I look for now is the
amount of internal memory. The more the better.

The main purpose of buying a smartphone for me is to surf the web when I am out
of my home to pass time.

So RS10000 translates to about $140, so you will be limited in your selection of devices, but that doesn't mean you can't get a device to suit your needs. I'm not sure what is available in your region but if you can find an Android One device (basically AOSP android) it will have no extra bloat and most likely to let you use all of the memory in it.

When I manage to get the cash I will post Amazon.in links here so that you guys can help me choose a nice model.
