I need a hug....

Well I bricked my first G1 the other day. It happened shortly after I had installed the Nexus one ROM. I really wanted to see the cool boot screen and did, but as expected the ROM was super-slow. Long story short I made a big mistake with the SPL and now I have a brick. I did however do some creative whining to T-Mo, and my replacement is on the way. Anyway, its been a bummer of week with out my phone and since my wife is stoked my phone broke and I have some time to pay attention to her, I figured I would jump in the lounge for a little sympathy.

**Sends a sleigh full of sympathy** :p

ah well, At least you get a Replacement ;)

Sorry that sucks. I bricked my first windows mobile phone 3 years ago, it sucked real bad. I did not flash for about a year afterwards. With time you will heal and return to rooting.

Sorry to hear that man :( This is why I haven't yet made the leap and tried to root and play with my Droid. It's just working so well and I don't think the risk is worth the few neat things I would be able to do.

Well thanks for all the support guys. I did receive my new G1 the other day and had her rooted and running cyanogen in about 15 minutes (at work none the less) I thought about keeping her stock but I have been rooted for so long a stock phone would almost be as bad as not having one at all.

I bricked my PSP (fixed it tho) and that made me hesistate with my ipods and phones for a LONG time but I rooted my phone yesterday so I guess its all good now.
