Help I need advice for flashing custom ROM

I need advice on flashing custom ROM on my tablet. These are the tablet specification:

Model - ALPS M703GN
CPU - 2x ARM Cortex-A7 1.30 GHz
RAM - 456 mb
Storage - 1.27 GB
Currently it is running android version 4.4.2
Kernel version is 3.4.67

I haven't used custom rom so far and i have read that not every rom will work on every device. So, what rom can i install on my tablet? Can i install Cyanogenmod and if yes which version?

First off,What device do you have?,,,Make and model...
Specs just won't help and If no one built a custom rom for that device and you flash a rom from another device,It will brick your device.Another words,A paper weight.
So,make and model please.

The model is ALPS M703GN. It's probably chinese, so it is not something popular.

Well it is a Chinese tablet and the only thing I can find is Root.(Maybe with OneClickRoot.But me myself I really don't trust them).
No custom roms at all for your tablet,But you can root(At your own risk) and weed out the crap you don't want on your tablet.
That is about it,Oh and by the way.If you do root and weed out your tablet,Be extremely careful you don't delete anything important.

I already rooted the tablet with Kingroot but i wanted to test custom rom install. I use the tablet mostly for testing/learning purposes so if anything goes wrong it will not be a big deal. But since no custom rom will work on it i guess i will have to skip that.
