Root i need help or at least an answer

can i upgrade to 6.0 without using a pc? my charging port is no good anymore and want to upgrade to MM i am on katana rom

Start reading here. Then ota to 6.0. .
But you will be 100% stock. No root or twrp. I'd stick with katana if it were me.

yea i can always root and twrp again , does bootloader need to be unlockeed? my bootloader use to say unlocked at splash screen but not anymore

I restored back to my Katana nandroid I had already and the splash screen still says it on mine.

ok after a hour of trying to figure out to go to mm i did all that from the post n it kept gettn stuck on trying to reboot to update so i rebooted like 3 x tried to go into recovery it failed thenit restarted on metro stock screen and the whole setup , i was still rooted , so i did the whole process over agin and this time the update is pushing through it rebooted and its installing will get back .
