I just got my evo like 2 weeks ago and like 4 or 5days ago I got a system up date or smoothing lime that and now I think I can't root my evo m I right did the update miss up the root if aim wrong p,ease tell me thanks guys

you should always have the ability to root it, are you saying the root doesnt work after the update? cuz you probably need to re-root it
