Carrier ? ___NONE___ (we know some are also Unlocked so not Just T-Mobile)

Country you are using your phone in ? _USA____ (we know that not everyone is from the US)

What I am wondering is.... How long till an unlock code will be available for this phone. I am on ATT and I do not want to pay double to Tmobile to get a code from them, and I have tried online services and local services and they both come back with NO CODE FOUND for this IMEI???

What's going on here?

I am NEW to this unlocking thing but from what I have read it's not supposed to be this big of a deal right?
 
Seriously? 21 people have viewed this and not one response? I am really wondering what is up here. I have this wonderful new phone and no way to use it other than wifi and I really want to get rid of my backflip, it's driving me nuts. Can anyone give me a hint here? :confused:

All I am wondering is how to get it unlocked. I see threads here and elsewhere about people with unlocked slides, but for some reason I can't get a code. Anyone, anyone?

Any help appreciated.
