I need to install Android Studio version 1.0 on Linux - Is this possible?

Hi there,

I've recently purchased the John Horton book 'Learning Java by Building Android Games'. He's a talented writer and the book is very easy to read, but it was published in early 2015 and the version of Android Studio used is very different to the current release. Can I download version 1.0 for Linux from anywhere? If not I'm going to have to abandon this book.

I don't think older versions of AS for Linux are available, but you might be able to get older Windows versions.
The official Android developer site doesn't appear to offer anything older than 2.3.2.
