I need to make my web videos videos play on android

I use wordpress, and I have a lot of self hosted videos as well. They must remain selfhosted.

Right now my videos are all flv files and they dont play on cell phones/android but I want them to play on android.

I used AVS video converter to convert them to play on Android, but then when im on my computer and i go to watch the video, i have to watch a low res video thats intended for the Android.

is there someway i can convert my original wmv file to a format that will be good quality as well as play on the android and computer ?

convert to h264 baseline codec. Pretty much any resolution will play on an android.

could you please point me to some more detail? see when i see in AVS Video Convert h246 it has all this other stuff on it that throws me off..

I just tried
H.264 AVC Video Codec with AVS Video Converter

and the quality looks like crap.. how can i maintain the original quality or most of it?

I personally would use Handbrake to convert. However, if you are getting bad quality, what resolution and bitrate did you convert to?
