Help I need to transfer from a backup of my old Samsung phone using Kies to a new Moto G5 Plus.

The old phone won't connect to the Helium desktop app and Google Drive crashes when you try to open it. I can backup the phone using Kies. Can I use that and restore it to the Moto G5?

I suggest you to connect both the phones to a computer and transfer the files instead. Using cloud backup might take a lot of time.(this mainly depends on your net speed). Then if you want backup the data to the cloud later.
