Root I rooted my galaxy but i don

Well, i recently (today) rooted my samsung galaxy player 5.0 (yp-G70) but know i don't know what else to do, i tought that my emulators such as gameboid would run better but they actually stop working, and now my pc doesn't recognize my galaxy. I really want to get the best out of my android but i don't know where to start and what to do. please help it's urgent.
