Help I Started Using Full Facebook App Again & Did Anyone Else's Suddenly Get

Named Messenger instead of Facebook? I first noticed it this morning when I woke up and saw all these Messenger: Pushbullet Notifications on my pc and was too asleep to think anything of it and just thought why is Messenger alerting me of these things, then a couple hours later when I was scrolling in my app drawer to open facebook, still too asleep to think of why on earth my facebook was in the M's app's, then a few hours ago at work I was opening facebook and then I finally realized WTH why is my facebook app now named Messenger right next to the facebook messenger app.

Anyone else's suddenly do this after a update? LoL

I'm gunna have to leave them a review saying WTF

I don't use the Facebook app. I use messenger but the Facebook app is a resource hog

I'm using the Facebook app again, too. To get Notifications, I use Folio for Facebook, and set it to not load images, then check notifications every five minutes. It's a web wrapper, so it displays the mobile web version of fb. It can also be used to view the mobile sites of twitter (using the paid version), Instagram and tumblr.

For some reason notifications from the fb app is borked when turned on with my G Stylo, so I have that switched off. I also leave it in internal memory so it runs quickly enough. No problems with fb turning into Messenger unexpectedly. I also use the Messenger app, which has been important of late, as I'm getting a lot of phone calls from relatives overseas through it.

My wife's Stylo has the FB app and it shows as "Messenger" in the Apps list in settings. Strange.

Nah.. I have facebook but no app on my phone. I just visit it's mobile page only WHEN I want to post or read something.

After today's update it's changed back to being named Facebook again.
