Root I think I bricked my phone!

Galaxy s i9000 running Eclair

Ok so I have a rooted Galaxy S I9000. everything has been working pretty well for months. no real problems

i used titanium back up to to get rid of the bloatware but i think i may have gotten rid of something i needed.

all day i have been getting a Sorry! message that reads

that some dumpstate thing is not working and needs to be force closed.

this got annoying so i i started uninstalling stuff.

This didn't work. I just not tried doing a factory reset and rebooted but now. my phone loads up, but there is no UI.

the status bar seems fine. it is connecting to 3G and reads the SD cards and everything. i can pull down the status bar to turn off the ringer, bluetooth, etc.

but the screen is black. if it sleeps, i can wake it up by doing the glass sliding thing (the default background is there)....but as soon as the phone unlocks the screen is black. there is no HOme screen.

nothing but the status bar. which again works fine.

pressing home and the menus softkeys and stuff don't work.

i can connect to wifi and everything but i cant even pull up the dialpad or anything

any ideas????

EDIT the Sorry mesagge is

the process android.process.acore ha stopped...please try again

this might not be the easiest solution to your problem but use odin to flash your stock firmware on your phone. whatever you've done to your phone, odin fixes it in 99% of the times.

Sounds like you have managed to uninstall touchwiz. Way to go son.

You will have to flash via ODIN. No other way around it. Next time figure out what exactly an app does before you delete it.
