Well I was helping my friend to install rom for his Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830.I install my rom for my Samsung Galaxy SII and Note 2 via odin and worked perfectly. So I decided to help him install the SGS2 Jellybean ROM.Even before I start to install the new rom it bricked. It went like this,I saw there's a install rom through sd card function in the ROM Manager apps.So I downloaded the ROM Manager for hios phone. After installing the apps I reboot his phone then everything went black and the phone is now dead not even be able to get into recovery mode and download. But odin can detect the phone, but I still can't unbrick because I just can't go into download mode. Not even after everything what I try and searching through the net to see others success....PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Its now my hpone so it's even worse MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u guys can reply directly to my email:

Your only solution is to try and get the phone into download mode and flash a stock firmware through Odin, if that doesn't works then the phone will need a new motherboard.

The mistake you did was that you did not read enough about his phone and assuming all samsung phones are the same you used the process on the ACE which is a sure shot killer for the phone. ACE has a different system than most samsung phones.
ROM MANAGER is not compatible with the ACE even though it says compatible on the play store, the second you installed the app and rebooted you killed it.
We manually enter recovery and flash the roms on this phone instead of using rom manager to do the job.
