I trashed the clock - how to recover on HTC incredible?

Hello posters. I have a HTC incredible and accidentally trashed the clock :o It's the stock clock/weather station from my home screen.
When I try to drag the clock back onto my desktop from the apps lists, it only appears as a 1x1 icon.
How can I see it as the larger animated app?
Thanks so much in advance!
 
long-press the home screen and select widgets (or HTC widgets) and add the clock that way. The icon in the app drawer is only to configure the clock widget.
