Help I want Jelly Bean... [GS3 Int'l]

Hi everyone,

Why is this JB update and news all over the place. I still can't figure out if there's an official release or not.

Additionally, I'm reading now that I missed out on updates, ones which are crucial before installing JB. Can someone please tell me why I'm not getting updates? Not the newer build nor JB. Why is Samsung hating on me?

And good ways on installing an official JB? I'm using a GT-I9300, international version. Attached is my About Device page. Thanks.

Jelly Bean has been released officially in Poland and some other countries. Not in the UK, though. Are you carrier branded or not? If you are, then you have to wait until your carrier approves the updates Samsung releases, which may take long.

I'm also on an unbranded international handset I bought in the UK. However I live in Qatar and so have a Qatar Sim, any ideas what country I'm going to fall under for the update?

If you bought from England, you should have a UK firmware, so you fall in the UK schedule, which hasn't yet been confirmed with a precise date yet.

Exactly. It doesn't work by sim. Even unlocked vodafone phone with o2 sim still gets vodafone updates. UK phone with French sim gets UK updates

Samsung said roll out will begin in October. So it will start anytime between now and the 31st!

Suspense is getting frustrating in the UK for this! Don't usually care about this stuff, and I know I'll never use it, but Google Now looks bloody awesome.

Yes it is. Although I don't use it lots - when I do it is pretty damn good!
