I want my smartphone to read chinese characters

I have a samsung ace with model number GT-S5830i... I live in Taiwan, and I bought a cellphone in my home country panama. Now that I wanted to add the chinese keyboard, I noticed that the cell phone doesn't recognize the characters. What can I do to be able to read characters?
