Tell us what you want off your tablet and maybe we'll be able to help. 
Guessing that it's a pre-installed app, you can't uninstall it without rooting but you should be able to disable it: Settings > Apps > All, find the app, select it and look for a "disable" button. That will stop it running and make it disappear from desktops or the app drawer.
If that doesn't help, please tell us what it is you want to remove, and perhaps what tablet you have and what OS version, and we'll try to suggest something.
