I want to use and map a PC keyboard and mouse to my xbox 360

I want to use and map a PC keyboard and mouse to my 360 but does anyone know of a better price then $75 for a convertor box to do this? ebay the ones ones I find that are for sure, for this, cost $$$$

less im mising something???

20 years of PC games, Im 10x better with a mouse to aim in shooters.

Have you tried amazon? Have you been watching ebay auctions?

If unable to find a cheaper price simply ask one of the sellers selling one for $75 if they would take less - you will find alot of sellers will take less for items on the bay

Afaik you can use a mouse / keyboard on the PS3 but they are detected by games and then the games match you to other players with similar hardware so you don't get an unfair advantage over controller users.

Thats funny, so they now will admit controller are harder to use then a mouse and keyboard? [consoles are not superior?]

I thought that day would never come, but know hands down if I walked into some console shooter comp, give me my 3 button marble trackman and 7-10 keys on a keyboard and Ill clean house before noon.

So far what ive read is you need a $75+ box plus a wired controller, guess the box captures the controller signals, then remaps them for your keyboard and mouse. But the controller has to be there.

So its gonna be more then $100 as I only got wireless ones........

I can find cheap ones for the original xbox, but 360 ones are $75 plus, some go up to $200

here is the cheapest right now, and notice it only have 1 USB port,


so I would need two, one for the mouse, one for the keyboard????????

IM so trying to deal with using the stock gamepad and save a buck, at times Im taking head shots like I got a 6th sense, but next game it would be better if I just stood still and let people shoot me, be less embarssing then walking into bullets like pacman gobblin up dots. And people are not nice about it

Though its more due to not knowing any of the maps, and it was only my first day of playing COD SO2 and IM not use to so much camping. PC shooters campers get kicked, stand and fight like a man is the name of the game. Anyone can squat n a dark corner n snipe people. Load up rocket area UT map But do enjoy the hardcore mode, more like a PC shooter. over 90 shot kills.

It is not saying that they are harder to use it prove that a keyboard and mouse are better than controllers!

It all depends where your monitor/TV/chair is. I'm not going to argue that a mouse isn't more accurate for shooters but if you don't have a desk or table in front of you it becomes near impossible to use a keyboard and mouse. I've tried the keyboard and mouse approach on my leather swivel chair but honestly in that situation a controller is a lot easier to use.

And then you've got your racing or sports games. Give me a controller over a keyboard and mouse for those any day. So it's kind of impossible to say ones better than the other as they both have their pros and cons and there's too many variables which can affect the performance of each.
