I want to use the Default Launcher, but I also want to hide some of the apps in my app drawer.

I have several apps installed, widgets mostly that I really don't want cluttering up my task drawer, but I actually like the Optimus 3.0 home (Hard as that is to believe) so I'd prefer to use it over another launcher.

Is there any feature that i just can't find to hide apps, or maybe an app that I can't find to do it for me? I've tried several already but none of the app drawer replacements are smooth enough for me and none of the app hider apps seem to work. I know it's stupid but I'm kinda neurotic about stuff like this.

Thanks

id like to know this too.. i love the stock launcher.. but theres some things i dont want everyone to see that i have

Yeah, for me it's not even that, I just hate having icons in my app drawers for widgets and the Google+ and all of the other Google crap that Pops back up no matter how often I freeze it.

I really do like what LG did with the new UI though, I love the lock screen and the LG home is really smooth, even smoother than Nova Launcher, which is what i'm gonna use until I figure out how to hide apps.

Ouch, sucks to pay that much for a launcher and still like another one better, lol.

Found it. It's called CCSWE App Manager. Requires root and there is no batch option (Maybe in the Pro version, but i'm broke) You have to re-add any widgets that you hide the icons for, but they start right back up and the Icons are gone from the app drawer. Very happy with it.

I'm running nova and love it. I use it on my other ics/jb devices, so I'm used to it and tweak it. Unfortunately, if you want to hide apps, you need an alternative home app.

Nope, Found an app that can handle it, see above post

Right, my point was its not something possible in stock without another app. You can use an alternate home app or one like you described.

Ah, okay. I figured that. I'm just happy I found something that works, I'm on stock home and my app drawer is decluttered:)

And I agree, nova launcher is awesome, but it doesn't have quite the smoothness as LG home. It's a very small difference, but it's noticable(to me at least)

Does anyone have a suggestion about a launcher that has 10X10 or more grids option in the home screen? I have been using Go Ex but want to try something else.

Nova does too, but the performance drops when you have the scree that dissected. I tried with a lower number and it wasn't as efficient as the stock figures.
