Help I was banned?

So I tried to get on here, got an error that I was banned as a spammer..
odd since I was not on here very often.
made a new account, looked for my old one and only found it in replies from other people quoting me.

original post was gone..

What gives? was I hacked, need i go through every site that i have and re do passwords?????????

was it my contribution level?

Your best bet is to post on Private chat with staff; only you and staff members can read your exchanges there.

Just FYI, we've seen a few cases recently, including a well-known regular, whose accounts were hacked. So it's certainly possible that yours was, too. If you have a dialogue with staff, they may re-enable your 'real' account, and restore its history--minus the spam.

Maybe you were, and maybe you do.

Thing is, always enable two factor login wherever you can, AF has two factor login, and never share and reuse the same passwords across multiple sites and accounts.
