i9000 Japanese model Tv out??

Hi all. This is my first post so please be gentle! While wasting time looking through youtube today I realised that my phone... the Galaxy S i9000 can hook up to a T.V via a T.V out option in the display settings. However having checked my phone it doesn't seem to have this option. Can anybody give me some advice on where I might find it or how I can get it...or is it impossible. Thanks uin advance for any answers. Bye ..p.s it def isn't in the display or sound settings!
