Icon changing while using Ahome

Hey forum,
I have a Question in my first post.
I'm using Ahome on my HTC hero and i really like
the theme that i have now but the Icons don't really match (
well, some are, some aren't). So my question is :
How can i change the icons ? I know how to download icon
packs but how do I use the icons and replace them for my
current icons ?

I hope people can help !

I've been doing it all day on my Eris. You just long press on the icon when its in your home screen and you get the option to change the name OR change the icon.

Aw! It doesn't work for you? I'm sorry. That's all i do. i have ahome and Bettercut and I put the shortcut on my desk top and then I long press it and then it gives me options. maybe its because we have different phones. I'm new to the android phone myself.
