Icon Disappears after using Better Cut

So as the title says, the icon disappears after using better cut. I edit the icon picture as well as the name. It shows up on the dekstop, but after moving and dropping somewhere, it disappears into thin air. Any theories on why this happens.

My theory is that there's a bug in Better Cut.
I've found the same problem when creating icons. Also if I rename an icon it reverts to the original name so I stopped using BC.
