I have a LGL158VL Android and theres a key that will pop up beside the 4G simble at the top of my phone what is it and how to remove it

That key could be from either your vpn or an ad blocker that runs as a vpn.

I haven't done anything to my phone for it to pop up
It will display only when connecting through a VPN, but there are several security apps that will utilize VPN connections (like Lookout) so even if you haven't installed a VPN app per se, you are still connecting through a VPN. Not only wouldn't I worry about it, but I'd be grateful for the added security.
