Android Question

All of a sudden, all of my icons on the main screen disappeared. Also, you can normally slide 3 screens to the left or right, that is now gone also. So I have one main screen with no icons on it, other than the 4 default items at the bottom: Phone, Contacts, Text & Apps. I also still have the normal top of the screen showing notifications, battery strength, time, etc.

I probably accidentally changed a setting, but I don't know. I've powered off and removed the battery, with no luck in restoring icons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Android Forums! Sorry for the slow response.

It would help to have more information about what phone you have, and what version of Android. However, the first thing I would try is to do a zoom out pinch. On my HTC phone and Samsung tablet that shows all of the home screens I currently have, and gives me the option to remove or add screens. Also, on my phone, if I go into settings->personalize->display there is section called 'Scene.' That allows me to choose my home screen layout and even save my current setup to recall later.

I hope this helps! If not, there are two avenues: You can re-submit your question with additional info the same way you submitted this one, or you can join the forums for a better back and forth exchange of info.
