Icons and docks

Hi chaps/chapesses,

I'm confuzzled a bit here. I'm currently running LP on my Desire (not rooted) and have just downloaded some icons I wanted to use on the dock. But they don't show up in the gallery so the long press/change icon method won't work. The icon packs are saved elsewhere.

How the devil do I (or can I) use an icon from a pack for a dock? Cant drag n drop as it just gets binned. I have Better Cut installed and I'm kinda ok using that and Folder Organiser installed too but it baffles me to be honest.

I did do a search for help on this but didn't find what I needed, possibly used wrong search criteria, if so then apologies in advance.

You have to unpack the icon pack and place the individual icons in a folder on your SD card. .apk files can be unpacked with 7zip. I'm not sure if windows zip feature can do it but it's worth a try.
