Icons/Changing/ etc

Hello, Ok i had my Desire for 6 months and really haven't used it as much as i could in all aspects of the phone and its capabilities. I am going to start having a look at Changing my phone, Icons, Widgets etc etc but haven't got the first clue. I found this site 'http://www.iconfinder.com/browse/popular' seems to be alot of nice icons on there i could/would use but don't know if or how to get them as Icons onto my Desire.

You can try the free app called Desktop Visualizer or Folder Organizer, but I think the latter costs, but I'm not sure.
One thing you should know is that there is no way to change the icons in the launcher/drawer AFAIK, only as shortcuts on the homescreens.
