Icons When Swithing Themes Go Launcher Ex

I have Go Launcher Ex. When I apply a theme there are some ICONS that don't really match the program. I hard press the ICON and then replace it with one of the theme's icons. Why is it that when I switch themes, I don't just get all of the default ICONS for that theme. I always still get the ICONS that I replaced from the previous theme. Is there a way to set the theme I just switched to back to the default ICONS for that theme or is there somewhere in the Go Launcher Ex settings where you set this?

Not using Go Launcher at the moment but if I recall isnt there a setting to "reset" the launcher
There is one in ADW. Perhaps try resetting the launcher to bring the icons to default then apply the theme you want.

Long press on the icon and then choose replace. Then you can apply the themed icon from any of the GO Launcher themes you have downloaded.
