Help ICS 4.0.4 has broken Auto-rotate

Since updating to ICS 4.0.3 (yesterday) the Auto-rotate function does not work. On those Apps that only use portrait it's fine but for everything else I get Landscape only, no matter whether Auto-rotate is ticked or not.
Really annoying!!!


One good thing about the update is that my camera (poor that it is) now works!


Any suggestions?

Did you reboot your phone? My auto rotate stops working on rare occasion. A reboot works every time.

Did you do a factory reset?
There seems to be many glitches and problems after the ICS update. Doing a factory reset will cure many problems.
I know it is a pain in the a$$, but it is worth the trouble.

I have 4.0.4 and no problem with auto-rotation.
