ICS Update for Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX in Europe and Canada

Congrats, back up your your phone and do a factory reset once it's installed.
Go to setting>privacy>Factory Data Reset.
Be warned you will lose everything in your phone.
Then setup the apps you backed up (that still work on ICS) and setup your widgets again.

Just got mine a couple days ago. Not very impressed I think I preferred gingerbread 2.3.6. Don't see what all the hype was about. The icons are childish compared to gingerbread but this is probably down to tweaks Motorola done.

If you think this is childish you should have seen previous versions of motorblur...

Exactly my impression.

That being said the phone refuses to charge from my laptop now .... a real pain at work. It also means u can't move files around if the battery is low since it continues to discharge (were before at least it would maintain its charge).

I haven't bothered to reset to factory .... is it really necessary?

Hi all,
I got the update today sys ver 672.180.41.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU, 4.0.4. in Serbia/Europe.
Conclusion up to now:
1. My music doesn't work?! message "Sorry. My Music has sopped working!" How come, terrible...
2. My Gallery works only if you don't slide downwards. Works when started from file explorer-view image?!
3. Home key press - no more all desktop screens shown at once?!

Dis someone experience these problems? Pls help....

The only thing that worked better is that now I get faster WiFi speeds...
That's for now. Waiting for Motorola support regarding this issues.
Do think before you update...
