Root ICS update

im rooted and running cmd touch recovery, stock v6 rom tho, but the spectrum is my first REAL phone so its a learning experience. kinda late to the party and most deff already been addressed, but my question is this. do i need to unroot in order to install v7 ics? or just install stock recovery? and iv never flashed anything so where can i get the ota update once its safe?

you need to be on the lastest stock recovery, being rooted is not an issue.If you have delted any stock apps you will need to recover those also.
