The guys over at RootzWiki have rooted the IdeaPad K1 has been with the help of leaked private signing keys. Details can be found in the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet forum.

I have followed their instructions to no avail...
will someone help with a screen that is stuck saying "booting recovery kernel image"

I have nvflash, ota.zip, sdk,jde,jdk....what do I when nothing works?
i have windows 7 and usb is good---apx device found.

what now to do with nvflash?
