Looks like the alarm clock reminder on my Huawei.

Its on the left side of the screen so I think it an app notification
Still something time related is my guess.
Your best bet is to ask him/her (since these queries almost always involve something seen on a screenshot from someone else). There are literally millions of apps out there, so the chance of someone recognising a particular rather generic icon with any degree of confidence is not high.
