Identifying branded tablet iDisplay

Hi guys,

I recently got an older type tablet, branded by iDisplay. It autostarts a narrowcasting app but i managed to get to android. It does work but I would like to update android to a later version but i don't know which tablet is under the brand iDisplay.

Android gingerbread
Idisplay uid0354-bo
Fcc id: Y34-Uid0354

It has volume buttons, brightness buttons, micro sd, power button, reset pin hole, two usb, hdmi, pb/ms, battery in, simcard and dc in.

Sounds like this tablet has been modified for some kind of kiosk or demo application.

The FCC ID gives a manufacturer and address.

Outform Ltd
R405,East,Buliding 203, Tai Ran Industrial Zone ,Chengongmiao, Futian, Shenzhen, China
But that doesn't look like a real company name to me.

Don't know who iDisplay is though, it's not Apple that's for sure.

Other than that.. not a lot. So I don't think there's much chance of an updated ROM for this device.

Put a SIM in. At least it's cellular compatible. Gingerbread is still useful just be glad it isn't an ancient version like 1.5 or 2.1
