Help Ideos frozen on boot screen, help please

First time posting, hi there everyone

My Ideos u8150 is frozen on the initial white screen with "ideos" written across it. I have attempted to access recovery mode but holding power/green/vol up just makes the screen flash and breaks up the image.

I recently rooted the device and came across the problem when trying to flash a ROM using ROM Manager in combination with a bootstrap.

I'm not the most tech literate of people but I thought I was going okay and now I'm worried I've wrecked the whole thing...

Will be happy to give any other details necessary

After changing back the Rom from the dronix 4.0 to the backup Ideos Rom.
the phone still start up with the dronix screen and while trying to go to the boot loader using p+vd+rc the screen stuck at the dronix start up screen .
several try but no luck

any help in such matter will be great

I think you described your dilemma very aptly:

If you purchased the phone to communicate with people - why render your warranty useless???
I think your next step might be to save up and purchase a phone with a larger CPU. Neil.

ps. I couldn't see anything in the User Manual advising recovery from an overclock gone wrong.
