If i install Opera Mini can i import my bookmarks from Dolphin Browser?

Hi, i was wondering if i install Opera Mini can i import my bookmarks from Dolphin Browser?
Or is there a way to copy them accross with my passwords for sites etc, or would i have to re-set them all up?

Opera Mini, as far as I know, doesn't have any particular function for pulling data from other browsers. Does Dolphin have any ability to export? If not, perhaps a series of third-party tools can help. If there is some kind of sync service/app for Dolphin then you might find a way to hook it up to Opera Link which synchronizes with Opera Mini.

I don't think you'll find any way to move your saved passwords around, but bookmarks should work if there's some way to get them out of Dolphin.

That maybe an issue then, dolphin allows you to backup / export, unfortunately it's not just the bookmarks on their own, its one file and contains browser settings as well, i would assume this probably wouldn't work trying to import them.

What does the export file look like? If it isn't complete gibberish in a text editor you could trim it to the bookmarks then find a way to import.

What kind of data is included with the bookmarks? If just the address, you could load the trimmed file in Opera on the desktop (possibly with a linkify extension installed), go to the Links sidebar, select all, right-click, bookmark, then sync with Opera Link.
