Okay, so I started reviewing my schedule for the week and I noticed a calendar entry that I didn't make! Apparently someone in the Bangladesh time zone invited me to this event, which was a link to a file (yeah, like I'm going to tap THAT one!). It was set up to repeat every other day. I deleted the series.
It's a concern because I know a lot of people will tap the link and BOOM! Malware. My question is - how did some random person with an email address in the .xyz domain get an event on my calendar? I guess they just invited my email address?
WISE ADVICE: if you get a link, do not tap it unless you are absolutely certain (a) who sent it to you, and (b) what it is and why they sent it!
