im looking for a gallery replacement...

I want one where i can make folders and stick things in them. I have pictures from the aquarium from my last birthday, pictures for a portfolio, and other things like potential backgrounds and stuff, and i hate having them all clumped together and mixed up. Is there an app that replaces the gallery with one that looks just like it only with folders added?

Samsung Captivate, too, if that changes anything.
 
I use JustPictures as gallery.
JustPictures shows only the folder, which you want to see :)

For to create the folders and to move the pictures in it, I use Estrongs File Explorer as file manager.

I tried using Justpictures before and I really liked it but I uninstalled it because I couldn't pinch to zoom. It says on the Market page that it can zoom. I installed it again but I still cannot zoom in on any pics. I can in the gallery though. Is there something I'm missing?
 
Having the same issue with evo.
I really like the gallery app that came on my wifes droid x.
Has the folders by date.
Would love to have that on my evo.
 
Tried out JustPictures. Too buggy. Every once in a while it would say "no account found under /sdcard/" and wouldn't load my picture. Reinstalled and tried again but too slow.

Also tried 3D gallery app, it was alright, looks good and all but I was going more for functionality.

The captivate has this option but it always ends up reverting to just the picture views. Even then i dont use it because i cant remember dates and all my things are still jumbled up

I'd a double tap on the picture and then I can zoom with "-" "+"
No pinch to zoom, sorry :(

I've been using Photobucket Mobile, Flicka, and Picassa apps on my Incredible as I keep the majority of my photos online (for backup and set it up for private viewing). It may not be for people that like to keep their photos stored on their phones but for me it's great. I'm able to organize my photos in folders, label photos, and I don't use up my storage space on my phone. I'm also able to upload photos I take with my phone to the app website for storage and view later.
