i'm new here, i need help with an issue with my android power tablet

i am new here to this forum and i join so i can see if anyone here can help me with my android tablet.

my tablet is a Visual Land Prestige 7L tablet with Android version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS which i got about an month ago from Wal-Mart's website.

beginning Wednesday evening my apps that i had moved on to the MircoSD card quit working and my MicroSD card quit functioning correctly. So i had to restore it with the factory data reset setting but it didn't fix the SD card issue. it won't let me move apps on to my SD Card. In fact i tried my MicroSD card that was in the tablet on my computer which has a SD card reader/USB hub combo that can read my SD cards and MicroSD cards, anyway, i checked it and it worked fine with my computer. then i tried the MicroSD card in my cell phone in it and nope, still can't store a app on my phone's MicroSD card ether.

in fact, the MicroSD card can still be found but unable to store apps on their anymore on my tablet as in it's detecting it. and i did another Factory Data Reset and didn't help it. it's not the MircoSD Card as i tried the phone MicroSD card and it's pretty much not full at all, and my MicroSD card for the tablet is empty too. it's not the MicroSD slot ether as it detects it. so it this a case of my Android OS being totally messed up and needs to completely redone from scratch.

i'm still consider to be a newbie with anything Android and not figure out how to fix issues like that while i'm more used to fixing my Windows PC which can be fix with the need of a Disk if it's a redo of the OS.

has anyone else had this happened before and can someone help me figure out how to fix it.

Update: still having the MicroSD card issues, just bought a new 8GB MicroSD card yesterday, i put it in the MicroSD card slot and it still didn't work right and still wouldn't allow me to move apps to it claiming "It didn't have enough space on it". it's a brand new MicroSD card, and it's completely empty with nothing on it and it's claiming not enough room. WTF is wrong with this thing.

Hi WillH699. Just taking a guess I'd be inclined to think it was a problem dismounting the old card and mounting the new. I could be hardware related but being so new and all.. it's not that likely. I hope someone more clever than myself and with working knowledge of you tablet has some answers for you. Good luck.

dunno if you still have the tablet or have figured it out...i was installing apps on my daughters VL 7 L (what you got) and all i did was take my SD Card out of my phone and used that till i was done.
i dled apps to it and then installed them on her tablet..using my phone ...

there was another topic/blog saying the guy had problems with his card not showing or reporting size incorrectly...and all i did was take it out of my phone and stick in the tablet and it worked like it should..

sooooo...if you have a "smart" phone that uses SD Cards...try formatting your SD Card in the "smart" phone and then stick it in your tablet ... and see what it does...it's worth the try if it's not too late...and won't hurt anything
