I'm new - this is "Interesting" you invite me

to "Say Hi" but then inform me (in red, *bad user* *bad user*):

"As a new user you cannot yet post links or images. When you reach the required number of posts this filter will be lifted. This is an anti-spam measure, we apologize for any inconvenience."​

I understand the need for this but perhaps new users should not be immediately invited to "Say Hi" upon registration when they are not allowed.

Welcome to the forums JungleBoi!

Glad to have you here, and these measures are put in place to, like it said, deter spam bots, because we get a lot of them!

Anyhow, new members can post, they just can't include links/images. So we are not deterring new members from posting, it is just we would like the member to have some posts (25) before being able to do those things.

Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused you, i hope you enjoy our forums
