I'm not receiving all of my texts

I just swtiched from an iPhone to the Galaxy S4 Actvie, and now I'm not receiving all of my texts. I think it has something to do with people sending as an iMessage. I have unregisitered my old device, but that didn't fix it. PLEASE HELP!!!
