Im stuck on desktop mode.....

How do I get out? Also, on the stock tool bar widget. What is that button next to the auto brightness sign. If its auto rotate then it doesn't work.

Do you mean in the stock browser you're stuck in the desktop view? If so, go into the Menu, and down the list you'll find a checkbox for "View desktop site". Uncheck it.

That button (double revolving arrow) is to turn on Auto Sync. That's essentially a shortcut for Settings > Accounts & Sync > Auto-Sync ON/OFF. When it's on, it'll sync all accounts based on their respective sync settings. Keep it off if you want to limit your 3G usage.

try re-docking the phone and undocking, or re-dock, turn off while docked and turn on when undocked.

Might rejigg it so your back where you should be.
