I'm trying to transfer wallpapers to my tablet

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 8.4 tablet and I have some wallpaper images on my computer that I want to transfer over to my tablet. I can't find the folder on the tablet for which to do this. I was told that you can just make your own wallpaper folder and just simply transfer the images to that folder.

So what I did was I made a folder called Custom Wallpapers on the Apps screen, but when I hook up my tablet to my computer the folder does not show up. So I don't know what to do.

Seems to me the folder where I want to transfer the wallpaper images to should show up in Windows when I'm looking at the contents of the tablet.

Okay what I did was I went into the drive through Windows and I created a folder called Custom Wallpapers (next to the Video, Kids Mode, etc. folders) and then I transfered a few wallpapers to that folder and now they are showing up on the tablet as options.

But the problem is they are not full size. They do not fill the screen at all and I downloaded them at 2560 x 1600. They only fill the center of the screen the area around it is black and unused.
