Images and videos won't download from text messages

I'm temporarily using my old Galaxy S5 because my Iphone broke. The problem I'm having is that now when anyone sends me pictures or videos via text msg the "Download" bubble appears, but when I click on it nothing happens. Any advice?

Try using data instead of wifi or reboot the phone.

Unable to receive MMS attachments. Check the phone's APN details are present and correct for your carrier.
