The build.prop property in the ROM does not match your Eris and all apps amrked as 'Private' in Market will not show up.

You can search and find how to edit the build.prop or wait for the official ROM.

ok, I found the build.prop, and I see that I have to modify the fingerprint(?) but not sure what to change it to, everything I am finding is for a different model phone.

I believe the version.sdk needs to be ro.build.version.sdk=7 instead of 6

already is/was

I emailed the guy and asked if he could change how it is listed in the marketplace or send me a link for the APK ;-)

it is dumb that some paid apps show up fine and others get tagged in way so you can't use them, what's the point? it's an simple IMDb app....

The point is to prevent people downloading stuff they can't actually run. Now how well tags are kept up with is the real issue.

I can understand using tags to keep apps off a phone they don't support, but when the app description says has been updated to work with all versions of the OS, then you would think it would be available.
