Import Facebook contacts into Optimus

Feeling like a real idiot here....

I want to simply import all contact info from all of my facebook friends into my contacts list on my phone, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. When I added my gmail account it DID seem to connect anyone in my gmail contact list with their respective Facebook account, but as I said, I want everyone from Facebook in my phone's contact list.

Using an optimus - your help is most appreciated!

in the People/Contacts app, hit menu-view, make sure facebook is checked, and make sure the box for "only show contacts with phone numbers" is unchecked.

Also in the Facebook app, go into the settings and make sure "all contacts" are synced.
