imported my android

I just plugged in my android and opened it on my computer as a disk and copied / pasted everything onto my harddrive. I think that the media I am looking for is under \DCIM\.thumbnails , but those are all .raw files that aren't readable by my computer. I was able to open them in Photoshop, but they're all staticy and messed up and distorted. Is there any way of saving these images or importing them another way to get the fullsized images?

It would help if you told us what phone you have.

It seems like you are trying to copy photos from your phone's camera to your computer. They ARE in the DCIM folder, but not thumbnails. Those are just what your phone's gallery uses to display the photos. The actual jpg's should be in DCIM/100Media.
