Help Imported photos, wrong EXIF data

I bought a new SD card for my Note 4 and when I imported all the photos from the old card, the new photos came over with the date set as the date I imported them. For example, lots of photos from 2013. When I migrated them over on Sunday (Nov 30), they now appear in the Gallery under that date, instead of the original date taken.

I'm on Windows and when I view the properties of the photos, it lists the correct date under Date Authored. However, date created is now 11/30/2014. The problem is that I have lots of photos I imported over. When I use the Gallery app, it now shows all my imported photos (700+) as having been taken on Sunday 11/30/2014.

What's an easy way to fix the Date Created so that it matches Date Authored?

Maybe can't fix it easily, I guess the gallery app is going on the file date and not reading the EXIF date all. If you're just copying them, the EXIF data won't change as that's embedded in the JPGs, but the file system date might. Maybe try another gallery or photo viewer app, that does go on the EXIF data and not just file dates. Think the only way to create retrospective file dates, is to put the clock back on the PC, and re-copy them.

Hmm, I am not sure what to do. I prefer to use 3rd party viewers, but since I'm not rooted, I cannot delete from there. Forces me back to the Gallery app. What to do, what to do???
