Impressed With New SSD Speeds

Did a benchmark on my new SanDisk SSD Plus 240gb. and man she is fast even in my laptop.

What interface did you use for the test ? Internal SATA or external USB 3.0?

Good choice for a HDD, you get excellent read/write speed plus shock proof capability.

They are amazing aren't they. I've had a frustrating time with mine though - after 2 weeks of battling to clone a dying HDD to an SSD, finally get the data copied, and install the SSD. Computer boots in literally a few seconds, amazing, but after logging in, system completely hangs.

This summer I built a new workstation based on a Shuttle DS81 MiniPC with s Samsung 850 EVO 500GB mSata SSD. Just amazing. I had no problems at all installing Fedora Linux. And it screams! Boots in 6 seconds. I'll never use a spinning disk again!
